Summer League

Our first ever PDGA sanctioned league!

Throughout the summer we are delighted to be hosting our first ever PDGA sanctioned league. Each Wednesday at 7pm players are invited to one of the three main Glasgow courses to enjoy some friendly competition.

The league was created for the disc golf community in and around Glasgow to enjoy competitive rounds during the Summer months and welcomes players from all divisions to compete.

The format will be singles play, with the course played rotating each week.

The 2023 Summer League has finished.

How it works

On the day, everyone meets at Hole 1 at 6:45pm for a 7:00pm start. Depending on the course being played and the number of players the round should take about 2 hours.

Entry is £3 per person, £1 of which will go to a no-limit ace pot. If anyone gets an ace during the round then they win the pot, if not then it rolls over to the next event.

All funds raised will go towards the maintenance and improvements of the established courses in Glasgow.

The Glasgow Summer League is a sanctioned event, so PDGA points and ratings are at stake.

Points are awarded after each round, based on how many players a competitor either ties (including themselves) or beats within their division. At the end of the 10 weeks the player will the highest number of points in each division will be crowned champion.
