Monthly Doubles League
Come and join us for our monthly, random draw, doubles league!
All skill levels are welcome, so don’t worry if you’re a new player. In fact playing doubles is a great way to pick up some tips from other players and experience competitive disc golf. Playing Doubles League is a great step before signing up for a more formal tournament.
If you’re an experienced player then we’d love to see you at doubles for a chance to win some cash.
How it works
On the day, everyone meets at Hole 1 at 10:45am for an 11:00am start. The round usually takes about 2 hours.
The course that is played is likely to alternate between Springburn Disc Golf Course and Ruchill Disc Golf Course. Just check the event details to confirm which course we’ll be playing that month.
Entry is £5 per person and all of that goes towards the cash prizes. There are payouts for the 1st and 2nd place teams, a CTP (Closest to the Pin) prize and an ace prize. If anyone gets an ace on that round then they win the pot, if not then it rolls over to the following month.
The Doubles League is a non-sanctioned event, so no PDGA points or ratings.
No need to book a place, just show up on time, meet some new players and enjoy playing.
